About Us

Welcome to Warwick Scouts & Guides! We are a society for anyone with an interest in Scouting or Guiding, regardless of whether or not you are a member of either organisation.

We run weekly activities, hold regular socials, termly camps and participate in national Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO) events. On top of that, we also connect student volunteers to local units in need of leaders and provide any additional support.

Our club

Welcome to Warwick Scouts & Guides! We are a society for anyone with an interest in Scouting or Guiding, regardless of whether or not you are a member of either organisation.

We run weekly activities, hold regular socials, termly camps and participate in national Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO) events. On top of that, we also connect student volunteers to local units in need of leaders and provide any additional support.

We organise a range of activities and socials throughout the year – from campfires to cake decorating, geocaching to pub crawls, real-life Angry Birds to film and pizza nights – so if you’re looking for a society that does a bit of everything, Warwick Scouts & Guides might be the one for you.

Our mascots

Bugger the Bear is our (unstealable) Club Mascot. He has been with us since Summer 1999 and retired as a stealable mascot in Autumn 2013.

Esme the Elephant is our (stealable) Club Mascot. She has been with us since Autumn 2015.

Together they represent the local area around the University of Warwick. The Bear is the symbol of Warwickshire and the Elephant is the symbol of Coventry. These can also be seen on the University of Warwick Crest.
